There is a problem accessing the appletviewer.properties file even though it is available in the installed JRE/lib. This is because Java will read the JRE environment which is in the registry. However, the program runs correctly despite this problem.

The .bat files are not runnable in Solaris.

Running DEVSJAVA2.6.3PS with VM in Solaris as follows:

1. Go into the directory where the appletviewer is located, which is located in:

/devsjavaps/jre/bin/sparc/native_threads

2. Run the appletviewer with the following parameters, to refer to the html which you want to load:

i.e.,

appletviewer ../../../../SAtomic.html

appletviewer ../../../../SCoupled_large.html

appletviewer ../../../../SCoupled_small.html
